The Lionesses have cruised through the rounds, defeating a range of teams by impressive scorelines, with Beth Mead joint No.1 in the top scorers list with six to her name.

The tournament simply couldn't have been any smoother for England on home soil and now they will be determined to step up to top gear against truly elite opposition with immense pedigree in finals.

Germany, who have won six consecutive titles between 1995 and 2013, will be determined to rediscover their dominance in the European game.

Reigning champions Netherlands were defeated in the quarter-finals, while Sweden – who are ranked No.2 in the world only behind USA – were dumped out by England in the semi-finals despite their glorious opportunity to add silverware to the cabinet.

Fans across the country will be able to soak up all the action live and free throughout the month with extensive coverage across BBC platforms.
